S. Edwin Noffel, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Noffel is a native Southeast Missourian from Portageville. He attended the University of Memphis for his pre-dental, the University of Tennessee for his D.D.S. degree and served as an officer in the United States Navy for two years. He then pursued his dream of becoming an orthodontist at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Noffel has served as president of many prestigious organizations, including the Southeast Missouri Dental Society, the Missouri Society of Orthodontics, the Missouri Dental Association and the Charles H. Tweed Foundation. Dr. Noffel has been a clinical instructor at the University of Tennessee and at St. Louis University and he continues to teach at the Tweed Foundation in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Noffel has presented papers to orthodontists in America and abroad. His most recent presentation, "Faces First in Orthodontics", was given in Italy October 2008. He has published articles in the American Journal of Orthodontics, the Journal of the College European d'Orthodonte, and the Tweed Journal.

Dr. Noffel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also a member of the prestigious American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Noffel continues to be active in the American Association of Orthodontists and recently received a certificate of appreciation for his leadership of the Council on Governmental Affairs.
